The United Arab Emirates (UAE)…
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a federation of seven emirates such as Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras al Khaimah, Sharjah and Umm al Quwain. While Abu Dhabi is the capital of the UAE, Dubai is the most populous emirate and Ajman is the smallest and poorest. Out of a population of about 10.2 million people (2023), about 9 million are expatriates, although the official language is Arabic, but English is widely spoken throughout the country. The tourism sector is the most successful among the Gulf States with many spectacular and world record buildings. It offers desert safari tours to tourists away from the crowded cities, while in the eastern parts of the UAE, the Hajar Mountains provide a perfect backdrop for trekking and other adventurous activities.
